Angry A little help (Yes I've searched)

One of the bulbs on my car blew and I can't get the assembly out so I can replace it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Kinda sucks considering its easy to take off the rear lights, yet am completely unable to get off the front ones.

Thanks a bunch

P.S. Yes I've searched using "b14 headlight removal", "bulb replacement", "light assembly removal", "bulb installation", and a dozen other names.

huh? Are you asking about the front or rear lights? To get the headlights out, pop the hood and look for a little wire latch behind the headlamp assembly. Undo that and that's it.

As straightforward as the job SEEMS like it should be. There's an inordinant amount of crap around the headlight that you'll have to work around. I can only imagine that if you have thick fingers this job is gonna be a major PITA.

Just look on the back side of the headlight assembly. There'll be a plug that you'll need to pull and I believe there's a wire type clamp you'll need to pull off BEFORE you yank the plug out of the headlight.

Patience and a good well placed yank should do the trick.

If you still have the manual, there are detailed instructions regarding the aforementioned topic there.

If not: Just follow what they said.

-Pull off the bulb plug by pressing on its side and pull
-twist the plastic cap counterclockwise to remove it
-pull off the rubber seal using its tab
-take off the retaining clip

Be sure to put those back properly as to avoid dirt/soot from getting inside your headlights.
