Exclamation Electronics Trouble, MUST SEE!

I have been beside myself for the past couple days. Over Christmas break I dumped about $1000 dollars into my 95 SE-R. I bought the following: Ractive intake filter, MAF adapter, Dual N1 style mufflers, Eclipse CD/MP3 player, 4 Sony 6.5 speakers, MTX 10" Sub, and Amp. I had a weekend of installation in my shop. After installing everything but the exhaust, I got the car out for new years. Things went fine for a few days but then, as I was pulling out of McDonalds one night, the car simlpy killed. I pushed it across the street and inspected everything. It was cranking over but never firing. I came back next day and discovered that my Engine Control fuse was blown. I swapped fuses and drove home. The next day, I blew two fuses in two blocks of driving. I took it home and tested everything, pulling fuses and disconnecting the stereo. Turns out that when I installed the air filter and adapter I hadn't braced the filter enough. As the engine torqued back and forth, the wire harness on the MAF sensor was hitting the brake pump. It tore one of the wires and kept shorting out. If anybody else has this kind of intake setup, watch out for this problem! I was even considering pulling the ECM out at one point.

sounds like you may be shorted to ground somewhere, double check your wiring and load up the exposed spot with electrical tape

You gotta be careful when installing multiple items at one time. It's good to space out your mods, or else you can end up with problems like this.
