Hey guys,
Just wanted to know if other shift knobs will work on the B14 from other models.
I figure the B13, P10, P11 and the A32 (95-99 Max) will since they share a common shifter. I am wondering if the 00-03 Max will work, b/c I am looking into the shift knob off of the Anniversary Edition. My shift knob just spins after it threads about halfway, so I need a fix. I don't like the universal aftermarket ones, b/c the never stay on. I have a Greddy counterweight in my Talon, but since that is chrome, it is too cold for the winter
Thanks!

you could always rethread the stick. that's what i did when i realized my screw on aftermarket knob wasn't the same as the stock threading.
its simple and opens your options up TONS.
i love my ractive chrome/carbon fiber knob. it matches the ractive shift boot and ring, as well as the ractive pedals i have. bling bling!
I was wondering...is there any shift knob I can get that will make the shifter shorter or do I have to just get a whole new one? How much money would I have to dish out for an aftermarket short throw to make a differenece and actually not fuck anything up with cheap crap?

untill you get one you could always saw the stock one down some. that's what i did, and what i did to the b&m one as well. cause i think that the short throw shifters are to long aswell(atleast to my likings). later

I never thought of that...its not that hard to jus saw a few inches off and then jus superglue a shiftknob on right? There arent any problems there I would run into are there?
I'm planning on hack sawing my old knob off and putting my new one on with some JB Weld or something within a couple of weeks. That's all there is to it. The only problem you could run into is if you plan on using the knob you have. It should just twist off, but I've heard their really really hard to twist off and most people end up shredding the knob with the wrench and end up having to cut the knob off with a razor blade or just hack sawing the shaft below the knob.

i had someone hold my shifter while i was doing it, i also got high speed metal hack saw blades so it would be easier. i haven't had any problems with mine and i sawed it down like 2 years ago.
