Question Project 200SX SE-R Beater

It's almost official. Since I'm planning on still eventually getting this damn turbo project done, I'm picking up a nice used '95 200SX SE-R to drive around town during the downtime and the downtime after the install gets done to do a bit of my side projects for my SE. I also wanted a second car so that when I do work to the SE myself, I can have it out of commission without having to worry about driving the SE the next day.

My questions for the community here are:

Can anyone point me to the direction or tell me the exact differences of the 200SX SE-R throughout the years? I know that in '96, the side mirrors and door handles/door panels changed to match the body color. In '98, the front bumper, rear bumper, headlights, taillights and gauges changed, also the grill.

Are the side skirts different than the '98? There's splash guards attached to the ones I have on the car I'm getting and they're ugly as sin. I thought the '98 skirts actually look better.

That's basically it. What my goals for the car is to clean it up a bit by renewing the headlights, fog lights/front bumper, grill, side skirts, tires and strut/spring combo or if money willing, Tein Basics.

I posted this on B15 because I'm OG there, but I wanted to see what you guys knew as well. Thanks in advance!
