I just bought some B14 SE-R rims, the 15" factory alloys and was jsut wondering what size tire I need to wrap those with.

205 50-15 or slightly narrower 195 55 15.

just wondering, it looks like the SE-R 15" rims are wrapped in larger tires than the B13 (esspecially the GA16). what about the B14 with the GA? they have the same tire diameter?

i always thought that if i got 15s i'd have to use 195/50 or something

You are trying to add a wider tire that retains the stock diameter to maintain speedometer (in)accuracy. A simple rule-of-thumb says 195/50-15 for B13 SE-R (not B13 that started with 13" wheels). A relatively simple formula can determine the width and cross-section that fulfills the requirement.

A search will find that formula and ten thousand posts about guys wanting to change tire size. Your definitive answer will be among them.
