Control Arms

I'm fairly certain I need to replace my control arms. The ball joints were in bad shape before my clutch job/axle replacements and they only got worse during these installs.
At this point I've been driving with the ball joints torn open for thousands of miles.
Has anyone replaced these before? It dosn't seem like it would be that hard but I was wondering if I could get some feedback.

its not really hard at all, aside from getting the wheel hub seperated. after that there is a rubber bushing twards the back of the car that needs a little pulling and twisting to get it out, but mainly thats just annoying.
