what size?!? are they balloons?

only reason your car would slow down is if they are under-inflated, or if they have a very high rolling resistance... or it might be some combination of both.

They could also be heavier.

you've got to try to find a site that has reviewed these tires... if you're coming from smaller ones, the rolling resistance has for sure increased... (ex: from 195/55 to 205/50) ...unless the resistance rating is lower for your tires... i personally have no experience with your brand, so i can't say much about them...

a good example is my potenza grid IIs (some people might not like em' but i do...), they had better compound than my current (cheaper tires with same tread pattern and size, bought on cheap because i had no money)... they ran quieter and faster than my current tires... so if you're coming of better ones, of course your car will feel slower... my .02

also check out the tire calculator on b14nissan.org to compare the effects on the speedo as well, i got myself pulled over because i was actually running faster than the speedo gauge........

When I got my car it came with 195/65-15 cooper cobras on it. WORST TIRE EVER. These tires are not made for performance at all. They are made for the good old boys and ricers who measure hp in tire smoke. Switched to a Kumho escta 712 in 205/50-15 and have been happier ever day after.
