clock wiring + and - ill signal??

Okay.. I bought a I35 clock to mount under my radio. It has "bat" "gnd" "+ILL" and "-ILL" terminals.

I assume bat can go from the stereo 12v always wire, and gnd is ground.. but what is + and - ill? I have only one ill wire coming out of my stereo harness.. is the little wheel that adjusts my gauges do the same thing? grr

Ok...tell me the exact manufacturer, serial number, and model number of your clock that you purchased...
And I'll hook you up on what those are..

Ok, I don't think I really have info on it. Just leave those two unplugged for now...I know what your talking about.
Its inside the clock you see +Ill and -Ill right?
I had a honda clock and those terminals where there too. And I couldn't figure out what they went too..Just leave them unplugged.

this is just a shot in the dark but perhaps that ill is for dimmer controls... like the little wheel that makes the dash brighter and darker. But then again I'm insane..... perhaps

Those should be for illumination. This way when you use your dash dimmer it will work with it.
