racing clutch wanted

hey, my sentra has about 120K mi on it and i figure its time to get a new clutch pretty soon. what exactly are the advantages to a racing clutch? can someone list some quality parts. i'll also get a lightened flywheel @ the same time. i only saw one clutch in the aftermarket parts sticky so, um yeah....not a mechanical genius guys. sorry if my questions sound dumb

i found some other threads and people were saying their clutches wore out within two years. some said they'd go through 2 in one year!! as far as i know i still have the original. is it possible to have a car with 120K miles on it?? i bought the car a little more than a year ago from an older couple. they used it to commute to ??? but i think a lot of the miles were freeway so less shifting. just wondering how long this new clutch will last me. i BEAT it when im racing, baby when i'm driving F.Y.I. still want to know some good clutches available too.
and yes, i realize this should be in the motor section instead of the b-14 chassis section. SORRY GUYS

Just make sure not to accidentally buy the act that says "Not recommended use for street driving" unless you want to have a really strong left leg like me.

I recommend the ACT clutches. Listen to Vodka though, you want one for street use, the 4 and 6 disc. have almost instant grab making harsh engagement and you will be having to really rev. your car to get it going.

What is your hp goal? If you simply want some extra engagment then a ACT HD pressure plate would probably work fine w/ a OEM disc. If you want to go w/ no2, turbo, are doing lots of racing, or have a really beefy NA car, the ACT HDSS or XTSS kit would work well. I believe the HDSS is good up to around 231 torque while the XTSS is around 320.

The acts range from 165 ft/lb of tq (NX3-HDOO) which is probably good enough for non-fi applications to 414 ft/lb (NX9-XTR4 & 6, I'm running the 4.) There are more in between, not a dichotomy like zeno said

Huh? At no point did I say that the ones I listed were the only options. I listed the HDOO, HDSS, and the XTSS because they are for street use.
