I got into a little bender and i need a new hood. i know, in know, carbon fiber is the best way to go and i will in the future. as of now though i'm just trying to find a stock silver hood from anyone in the CT area that switch theirs out and and wants to sell the old one (i'll pick it up and save in the shipping). i called all the junk yards around and i cant find it any where. pleeeease tell me someone in the area has one........

Try finding a aftermarket body parts supply house if you can't find a reasonably priced used hood.I got my B14 hood for $133 locally from a place called Keystone Automotive.

You should be able to find an aftermarket new hood reasonablly priced.

Just curious what does a Nissan dealer want?

never checked with the dealers. F' em. they wouldnt replace a $5 part when the car was under b2b warranty. all of the hoods i find online are at about $100 + S/H (another $100+ or so) thats why im trying to find a person, or place, where i can go pick it up....
