Tips & tricks

Hey everyone, newbie here. I have inherited all of my gal's Sentra maintaince chores. I plan on changing engine oil & filter, fuel filter, air filter, plugs, coolant. Is there any tips or tricks concerning basic maintaince with the Sentra? I already did a search and got some good ideas but still wanted to check with you guys. I am not looking to race it, just keep it running for a long time. Thanks!

PS - I plan on going with Amsoil oil & filters. Hands down that's the best. That's all I run in my Toyota.

Well,
Grounds and hoses and belts are usually a good place to look at too.

Yea, check the belts, hoses, you will prob end up having to change the plug wires too... but thats about all you have to do... and it will run F O R E V E R... no joke.

Cool, thanks everyone. Any problems doing any of this stuff? For instance... changing the rear 3 spark plugs on my 4Runner is pretty tricky. But everything seems pretty straight forward on this car.

Yea, on Nissan's alot there is a tip on the end up the spark plug wire that stays stuck on the plug... you are gonna have to get something like a coat hanger and try to fish it outta there... it is a real pain in the ars... I found out that if you pour a tad bit of oil in there it is alot easier... I don't recommend doing that though...
