Well this afternoon i had raced a delsol vtech with intake header and he beat me on a roll by a bumper but then when we went on a launch i beat him by like a car and some is there something wrong with my car we went from a roll like 3time he beat me twice and once we tied but from a launch i beat him all the time so do you guys think that there is something wrong?????

No, that sounds pretty accurate.

Your advantage is higher torque which is why you would take him from the line. By the time his VTEC kicked in you probably were already well ahead of him. From a roll, his VTEC is wailing like a drunken Irish whore; hence his advantage.
