ok.

I bought a pacesetter header from a forumer for cheap. I got it, and granted, it was rusty, and not hotshot, it looked like it would fit. So, I got everything off, bought gaskets, and have the pacesetter almost all the way on, bent the egr metal tube thing (what a bitch that was..) and guess what. The egr metal tube thing doesn't thread on. The threads are a little too large.


The header came from a b13... but pacesetter's website shows the same model # for b13 AND 14's. So.. what the fuck is the deal.

Yes, I just got my HS header installed 2 days ago, and the EGR tube was bitch ...... took so much work to bend & fit ! And to make things worse it is still not tight ... whch means some of the sticky air is coming out !!! I am going to complain to Hot Shot about this.

okay...

i got a response from pacesetter..

the egr HAS to fabricated by a muffler shop. Shouldn't cost more than $25.

Other than that, everything else fits fine.


I, HAVE to have my car during the days for the next 2 weeks and beyond. There is no way I can take it to a shop or anything..

look for a pacesetter header fs in the classifieds. You WILL have to have an egr tube MADE at a shop.
