97 sentra, what to get? long but please help!

i have a 97 senntra, i read a couple posts that said i can get a cluster with a tach, which models can i grab one from and whats involved? will redline and everything be ok?

angel eyes- whats involved in getting these? is it hard to wire? what bulbs does it use? to me it looks like 2, 1 high and 1 low, like general motors, if so do the lows stay on when you put the highs on?

tails- i seen alteza style on ebay, what what can i do about that nasty looking strip on the trunk?

Cluster - Assuming you have an XE, GXE or GLE, You can get any cluster from a 200sx se or from any other Sentra that has it. But make sure the car isnt a 200sx SE-R, Sentra SE or SE-L.

Angel Eyes - You can pretty much get them from eBay. Here are two threads that will help you install them:

http://www.nissanforums.com/showthre...threadid=11314
Make sure you read them through all the way.

Tails - Check out this thread for some ideas:

Hope that helped, and Welcome.

WELL, I've had two different sets and have had them wired both ways, hard wired and with the supplied wiring harness. BY far the hard wiring is the best I've seen yet. No "extra" crap to go through other than figuring out which wires connect to which.

With the two lights, if you use the harness it'll light up BOTH ways. there is a relay you can take on or off and make them light up separate or together.

If you Hard Wire the lights like I did (second time) only the inner lights will come on when you put on your brights and the outer when the low beams are on.

Tim

welcome to our disfunctional nissan family.
