Stock rims make ride lower?..

Ok, here goes the question.. I have been thinking about this for a while, and try to visualize and think of what it will do..

I have 17" rims on my car now, and the car sits pretty low on the TEIN S Tech springs, and kyb agx, but i was wondering if i went with smaller rims, like 15,16, if the car would sit lower to the ground or if it would still sit however many inches it is off the ground now.. just curious any help would be awesome thanks guys..

for every inch you smallen the rim, you drop 1/2 inch to the ground... that is if you use the same profile tires.

But if you go with smaller rims and same profile tires, you will have a larger wheel/fender gap. Your car will sit lower to the ground, but might look higher.If that makes any sense.....lol
