halo headlights

I was seeing if any one has these headlights.

I wanted to see if you guys have a problem with the bulbs burning out really quickly?
they last usually 2 weeks.
H3 bulbs

how to fix, or what is causing it?

I've had TWO different sets of projectors. Replaced ONE bulb in almost two years. No problems as long as you keep the right wattage......they ain't made for 100Watt bulbs.......and you keep the connections nice and secure.

What if we replace the harness with one made to withstand higher wattage? or has this been tried already

Only problem with that....I've heard of people telling me their projectors, the actual housing, started melting because of the high intensity from the "xenon" or high-wattage bulbs.

55Watt bulbs. YES, people, including myself, have used 100w bulbs and gotten away with it. But it is best to use 55w bulbs.

noone in my town would care what watt we use, just be careful cause my friend pulled his outta his housing and accidently dropped it on his front clip and it melted a big hole in it and left black crap all over the bulb

The wattage issue isn't a police issue,
It's a screwing up your car issue. Use anything over 55-60 watts for low and you will melt your harness. That goes for 75 watts for high maybe maybe 80.
