Painting door handles

I got gypped and don't have body colored door handles... personally, it doesnt bother me tooo much but if I could do it well and cheap I'd consider doing it.... question is would I have to remove the handles or can they just be taped off and sprayed? Can they even be painted at all? Would it be possible?....

they can be painted, and u should prolly take it to a shop so they can color match the paint to your car......mor than likely they'll just tape off everything around it and do it

I wasnt implying that I would personally do it.... Id definately take it to a body shop... theres actually a really good one 1/4 down the road from my house... what would be a rough estimate on the cost of painting the door handles?

Just to give you a rough idea. The Nissan dealer near me wants $85- a door for the handles. They say that they can be taped but the paint will eventually peel. So the $85 is to have them taken off the doors and painted. But, only $35 if they just tape them!
