Well I can say this from first hand.. I have a 99 sentra gxe that had a 1.6de I put in a sr20de from a 94 se-r what i found out later was that I could use my 1.6 harness on the 2.0 have to get a 96-99 Distributor with a ecm. u will have to get a sr20 tranny it's batter if you can get on out of a 92-94 se-r and cv's also. and make sure you have the front mount on the 2.0 b/c the 1.6 will not work at all. Soo as you can see it's not that heard to do.. But it would be essayer to get the newer 2.0 then the older one but thats your call not nun of are's..
