someone once told me that all intakes are gonaa work the same and that i could make one out of dryer hose. i easily shrugged off this crzy suggestion but then as started realizing that all intakes looked the same i started to question that. has anyone ever tried this and if this crazy then what are some good intakes at a reasonable price?

Cold air intake or wai intake... either made by a company or fabricated yourself... throw the dryer hose idea right out the window. try to find one thats used but don't settle for a cheap idea like the dryer hose.
