Question Question about hotshot header...

i received my HH.... its a work of art....
now i understand that the cat is built into the early part of the factory header, between the engine block and the radiator.... there is a port for the egr and one for the first o2 sensor in the upper half of the header... following the header on down the vehicle, there is another 02 sensor, followed by a joint (2 bolts) followed by the rest of the exhaust starting w/ the resonator... seems that if i replace the fact header with the hotshot, everything will line up/bolt up without any problems... but would the lack of a cat affect the ecu in a negative way.... or would the the system work without any problems....? if i add a cat, i assume it goes where the resonator is at???
this is probably asked before.... sorry if it exists in the post elsewhere

the question has been answered before...

you need the cat, the check engine light will go off without it and your car will run funny... get an aftermarket cat and move teh O2 sensor behind it. the resonator can be scrapped if you want, doesn't change the volume that much... watch out when smog time comes though...

yea.... seems to have made a (+) diff.... sounds like a mean ass..... contour SVT....
its teamed w/ a PRI CAI and theres definitely more power from 3500 and up.....
plus its a 5-speed.... dono if that makes much of a diff.....
but def. worth the 4 bills.....
