Just buy it! It's one of the best in the business. Then tell everyone what they are missing and how good they are. That's what I did when I bought my Tein HA. Back then JIC were not offering anything to B14's or JN15 model. Be the first!

The FLT-A2 is adjustable/ 15 compression and rebound. The only problem is...I think it cost a little bit more than TEIN HA. Definitely way more than the SS.

In my own opinion. This has nothing to do with b14's. I have installed a set of JIC's in my Impreza as well as two other guys in my club and from my first hand experience with these, they are utter crap. The damping adjustments were non consistent and if that were not enough, we all had the adjusting screws on the top of the coilovers fly off!! meaning the adjusting rods breaking out and damaging my Hood! In my friend Dylan's case it when THROUGH HIS HOOD. Now I can see a one time fluke and it only happening to one of us, but all THREE OF US?? Come on! The positive side of this, is they are good with warranty and in a couple of months wait you get em back in time to sell.
Now mind you they might have fixed theses problems since then or it could only be with GC8 Impreza's, so your own experience will vary.
Give it a shot......

For B14's, just ask for JN15 fwd suspension. It's the same.
Verno-dub, that's really f*#ked up. What are you guys doing? Rallying? Which model did you buy?
More than likely these suspensions will be use mostly on public roads and once in a while it will see some track events. It's totally different from dirt driving.

Nothing Seriously!!!!, not even an AUTO-X, mine lasted about 4 months, my buddy dylan faired better at 1 Year 8months, but my friend jason's JIC's lasted 2weeks!!! EEK!! But Jase drives like he stole his car.
Oh well......what can you so when JIC is willing to fix it for free?
I got the stock stuff back on now, as Im saving up for ZEAL coilovers....damn expensive, but the best.

Well, driving you car like you stole it; I think is the only way to find out if these suspensions can back up their claims. They are suposed to handle that kind of abuse. It must be some kind of a manufacturer defect because JIC is one of the best companies in Japan. But then again, 3 cases of failures ...I'll say not a good sign of quality control.
Zeal is really expensive! Also, if you have the money, I'll say Ohllins is the one to buy too. They don't make one for B13/14's though.
