i just rewire my starter to a switch... only bad part is that you won't be able to start the car with the key anymore... unless you hook up the switch in parallel... it's up to you...

Things aren't always what they seem...
go to bulldogsecurity.com and look your car and year in the Wireing Diagram section, there it will tell you what color the wires are and what they do. from there you can wire your switch but id do it in parralell like b14drifter said. just incase you want to hide the switch in a different location. i put a remote start system in mine from bulldog and it was real simple knowing what wires do what with the diagram . hope it helps , good luck.
