if an 08' sentra with a 2.5L it would be an SER so yeah it would be a qr25de... the 08' sentras with a 2.0 are the base models

wow, that'd be heck of a jump in power for you. I haven't seen a 2.5QR, but i can imagine how tight it'd be under that hood. That'd be awesome if you could do it.

You could but it would be the same as doing a 2.0 swap. Except think more custom parts/brackets and stuff like that. You might as well just put in the sr20det and save yourself money.

Dont mean to ruin dreams here but the sr20det makes more power than the qr25de engine. I'd want the 6 speed tranny though

well i do like to go fast but i kinda got this attachment to the car lol and to make it go really fast isnt the goal.. since the engine is an 08 it doesnt have a lot of miles so that means the car will last me even longer and the qr25de is fast for what it is so i get stock speed and a lot of life i get to kill two birds with one stone...

You could boost that qr25! Buut thatd be expensive. I would say to do some research on the swap, see what you might have to do

where there's a will, there's a way! My friend turboed his 88 Ford Ranger (2.3L). he has a Holset turbo in it--it originally went to a Cummins Diesel. Not that you gotta put a huge turbo in it, but you could put a small one in it and get 4-6 psi out of it. you'll never go back after you get used to that sweet turbo sound. I'd do it if i had the engine, tranny, and the $ i'd totally do it.

Yeah your def looking at alot of custom fabrication to get that in. Your going to need the ECU, wiring harness, possibly custom axles and shift linkage. Your b14 is lighter than the new sentras also.... so your going to be quicker than the newer SE-r's.
