Different Tire Question
When I get my Bluebird engine, I'm going to need traction. I'm thinking of getting a second set of wheels for the track. Got several questions about the best thing to do.
When I start doing track and drag, I want to get a set of extremely light 15" rims. On the rims, I want to put in the widest tires I can possibly get on there. I was wondering, is it possible to get a rim with a super high offset? If the offset is high, the wheel will stick out more and I will be able to put wider tires in the wheel gap.with that said, what should I do?
When I have this figured out, what type of tire should I get? Keep in mind, these will only be my track tires, what is the best gripping tire that I will be able to afford?
