stuck in 4th gear? automatic tranny..
hey guys, this sort of goes with my other threat "odd transmission/engine problem"
it feels like when the car hits 4th gear, and i start slowing, it doesnt want to downshift.
this causes a problem: near stall when stopping. i figured it might be a 4th stuck becuase
when im going about 40mph, the engine is in 4th gear and rpm around 2k. when i tap the gas to speed up, the tranny doesnt want to down shift for a split time then it finally downshifts to 3rd and car speeds up. you guys think the tranny is going bad or is it some sensor?
also just replaced the ignition wires and spark plugs (not just to attempt to fix the problem but sort of needed ones sooner or later).
