'95 200SX Se-R

Ok I am new so sorry if this is in the wrong section. I am getting my first car soon so I loked on Autotrader and found a nice Green '95 200SX Se-R priced at an affordable 2K. I have, since 12, dedicated my life to cars/bikes and I am looking to you guys for help on this subject.

What can you tell me good or bad about this car? Leave no technical detail out.

I love my 95 200sx ser. It has 174,XXX miles, and i just had to replace the alternator for the first time. It is still running strong and pulling hard. The one downer to the car is that the body is rusting quite a bit in the rear wheel wells, but everything else is holding up good on it. Hope this helps!

any under/over steer issue can be resolved with the right parts and settings.

yes the 200sx SER has the 2.0 SR20DE and a limited slip diff.
There are people here that autocross and have set there cars up properly but I am not one of them.
Search and you will find lots of information. look in the suspension section.

The cars last well, particularly here away from the rust belt.
As far as repairs Daughter's 97 SER has had an alternator, starter and drivers window regulator from new. thats it !!! (apart from tires and brakes)

Go for it. I love my nissan. If it is a stick it is even better. I would not own mine if it were automatic.. Great Car. I had some oil leak problems but were any easy fix. all cars have oil problems..right
