I had a clunking noise back there once. It turned out to be the OE jack in that little compartment. It had worked its way loose; I tightened it up and the clunking stopped. Hope you get the problem fixed soon!

Is your car lowered? If it is what was used to lower it.
Have you had any accedents pretaining to the rear of the car? Could be your axle. Could be you struts. Could be a few things. A lil more info would help us diagnose the problem a lil easier.

I have the same clunking noise too...but my car is lowered and I KNOW for sure that its my strut mount (motivational...it wasn't installed 100% correctly).

Right now my car is lowered. Its on H&R's and kyg GR-2's everythin was installed correctly. Sorry to say but my car jack got misplaced by one of my homies so i noe its not that. No accidents wit the car either. Axles seems fine. Just happend recently. Some said it was my drums moving around gonna replace them soon. If i have OEM mounts would they be makin the noise? Thanks guys by the way
