B14 95-99 chassis 1995-1999 Sentra and 1995-1998 200SX

Front Passenger Corner Light

Okay so a while back I hit a bedliner that was on the freeway late at night well I clipped it. It bent part of my front fender and bumper and flipped my corner llight upside down. Now my rear corner light blinks really fast like a bulb is out but when I put brand new light in the front corner but my rear corner still blinks like the front bulb is out. But this is only when I turn on my blinker, when I put on my hazards it blinks at the normal rate. This has been going on for a while. I remember replacing the fuse but maybe that was for something else again this was a while ago. I am thinking I either have a ground or a short some where but I think it might be in the connector and replace that. Anyone else have this problem in the past or know how to locate what's causing the issue?

check the ground on the front corner light.

Okay so where would the ground be at? I am work right now so I can't exactly look at it real quick Since it's a couple blocks up at the parking garage. I am going to assume you mean the ground that is connected to the chassis not the ground at the connector, however which socket in the connector is ground I could probably follow it and find where the ground is at.

Since there was damage to the car I suggest you check with a meter the socket ground to the chassis and see if you are ok or not.
there could be a broken wire or poor ground at the grounding point.
