Cool Need help for my ga16de rebuild

I start building my ga16de tomorrow, and have all the parts and everything, i hope. anyhow, ive looked at the project sweet 16 articles and the evil twin with performance mag and they are some really helpful articles, ive even looked at a lot of theses threads, and thank you all so much. my only worry now is that im building my motor with all stock internals. will i be alright like that, (i am planning on running a turbo setup and and some jwt cams later on). any help or ideas where i can find some more info in these threads then point in the direction. thank you very much

Both the cars mentioned run stock internals if you read the articles through. someone else just asked about this and Wes confirmed.

yup you can definetly run turbo with stock internals but not recommended to boos more the 8psi.......u will have major problems with ur crank and rods pistons....

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP... MY NEXT QUEST. IS, ACCORDING TO ALL THE SPEC MANUALS AND THE CHILTON ODB COMP PROGRAM I HAVE, THE 97 RUNS 9.9:1 COMP. AND THE 92 IS 9.5:1 COMP. THE PARTS STORE EVEN SHOWS A DIFFER IN THE PISTONS PART NUMBERS. WILL I BE OK TO RUN 9.9 WITH THE NEWER PISTON AND STILL BOOST AT 11 LBS LIKE THE TWO CARS IN THE PERFORMANCE MAG HAVE DONE...

are the pistons forged? and did u bore the cylinders? if you did how many mm over?
and off coarse u need stronger rods........if you do u can boost up to 16 or 18psi with minor changes to ur fuel system....as in bigger injectors and or bigger fuel pump
let me know all your changes you did to the engine to prepare for the turbo.
BUT you can buy different things to help you with your fuel and ignition like (MSD BTM)
or buy a injector controler
