Help Diagnosising a Idling Problem

Ok, so I just got a '96 200sx se-r and there has been extensive modifications done to it (engine swap, cams, the whole 9) so Im happy with that.

The problem comes when I turn the car on. With the O2 sensor hooked up, if I turn the car on, it will turn on and shut right back off. Then I have to rev it up above 2500 rpm, and then it will idle for a little bit. After everything gets up to temperature, the idle wont hold steady and then itll finally die. Without the O2 sensor, I can crank it and it turns on and idles fine...until it warms up and then the idle is unsteady and it'll die.

What I was thinking was adjusting the idler screw so that it would idle at 1100 rpm, cause around there it was fine and the car didnt shake (when it does settle and it idles around 600 or 700 rpm, everything on the car shakes horribly). But I did a search and its not easy to get to the screw so I wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar problem first.

The engine is a DET out of a bluebird.

did you check all the air hoses/vacuum hoeses going to the intake? it could be a hose being loose or a broken hose at that.......

Any codes? First check all your vac hoses and look for leaks on the intake. do a tuneup wires, plugs, fuel filter, o2 sensor. take a voltmeter and start checking stuff MAF, tep sensors ect.
