97 Sentra Speed Sensor

(Trouble taking sensor out). I am trying to replace the gear oil in the manual transmission of my 97 Sentra. I believe the best way to do this is through the speed sensor. I have taken the bolt out but the sensor will not come up. Is there a trick (clip, prying, threads) to pulling it off?

well, yeah. you could go through the speed sensor hole, or at the 3/8" drive plug facing the radiator and fans. the drain plug on the other hand is the 1/2" drive plug on the lower end facing the driver's wheel. let me see if i can find some pics.

I just changed mine gear oil with Redline MT-90 over the xmas weekend. the speed sensor plug was a bitch to get it out. I just kept pressing it down and pulling it up(real hard) for about a min or 2, and it came up.
