Yes this is VERY common and several companies make strut tower braces and sway bar kits for your car. Do a search on thsi topic in both this forum and the suspension forum.

I have the front 4-link lower tie bar on my car. Basically bolts to the lower end of the front suspension. Great improvement, but I don't have an upper strut tower bar yet so it's still a little mushy in the corners (on bone stock suspension). I would imagine that the tie bar and strut tower bar up front, and a rear stb would give pretty good handling. You don't need a rear lower tie bar, because there's already a solid beam back there. If you want a stiffer sway bar, go with the B13 sway bar up front. Not sure about rear.
