i think my car is prewired for fog lights. help

when i open up the fuse box under the hood, i can see a blue socket without the top part under "fog lamp". also, when i look near the driver's side headlights, i can see a small connector next to the headlamp wire that's being unused.

does this mean my car is prewired for fog lights? but i do not see a place around the dash where i could mount a foglight switch.

btw, i ordered foglights with remote control start function so i need to start thinking about how to wire everything up..

yeah it should be ready to go. just check the fuse by the battery. your fog lamp switch is on the turn signal arm. where you turn your headlights on there's another 'twist' switch on the arm. when you twist it forward your fogs are turned on.

I do NOT see a foglight twist switch on the left stalk. argh... it's strange cuz if the car is prewired for foglights, why wouldn't it have the switch????

you might have to change your stalk lever to incorporate that foglamp switch.
is that wire by the headlamp long enough to reach down there? i think i saw some on mine, but i already have foglamps. might be for city lights. going to double check.

what model is your b14? I have a '96 200SX SE. I have the blue socket relay in the relay holder on the passenger side of the engine bay. And I had to replace the fuse that was in the fuse holder that clips on the battery tray.

if you're using after market fog light wiring, y not just use what's in the kit?
