Exclamation Coolant reservoir in the way for headlight

I'm a new user, looked around and couldn't find an answer to this problem. I've gone on www.sentra.net a few times and browsed this forum a few times and wondering if anyone out there could help me out. I'm only good at cosmetic mods on my car and mainly on the interior.

My headlight went out the other day on the passenger side of my 1996 Sentra. I had replaced the drivers side one before but on the passenger side one there is no way to get it out because of the coolant reservoir. The manual says to reposition it, but it doesn't say how to reposition it. I see everyone saying how they've totally changed their headlights so this one should be easy for you guys. Help me out please... and thanks.

To move the coolant resovoir just try and lift it. Mine moved that easily, if your is more diffcult I think there might be a clip on the side facing the firewall.

Thanks

It came out just fine... once I yanked like a mofo. I guess its because I've never moved that thing that it stuck so bad, now I know though. So thanks for helping on a "laughing" matter like mine.

I was able to get my bulb out by just pushing the reservoir out of the way. If you ever replace the headlight housing on that side it sure it is a pain to maneuver tools around all the housing. I'm glad I had help. The new housings were tons better than the cloudy old ones. My light output has increased a lot.

I went to Autozone and picked up some headlamp polish. It restored the plastic lens to pretty near new. Only $5 for the stuff. try that for cleaning up the faded look.

I bought Mother's polish and got a orbital. It definitely helped on one of the lenses, but both were hazy on the inside and so tons of polishing on the outside weren't going to rescue them esp. the really bad one.
