Red face changing clutch

would like to know if anyone has every changed their clutch, how hard is it, any links to a DIY, I would greatly appreciate it.

It's not that bad, just be prepared for the job.
Have clutch kit ready with pressure plate, throw out bearing and clutch disk.
Have a local shop you trust re-surface the flywheel. I paid 30 bux to my local machinist.
Purchase new retaining clips for the throw-out bearing. These should always be replaced with a clutch job.
Remember you'll need Loc-tite for the flywheel bolts and Lithium grease for the spline. Not to mention a torque wrench, a breaker bar, movable jack, socket wrenches w/extensions, and a way to lift and suspend the car.


Also, try reading through the Factoy Service Manual first. FSM.zip - 40.4MB
