Wink SR20-DET

I am considering a engine swap with my 96 nissan sentra gxe and I found a SR20 but I was just wonderin if it was worth it and how much it will cost? for the engine right now im lookin at about 1500 bucks and that comes with every thing but the intercooler and I am planning on doing the engine swap my self, so if anybody has already gone thru with this and nows how hard it is let me know

I have read here the whole instructions but not done this myself. Others here have.
I read that you need the transmission and drive shafts as well as the Engine when upgrading to SR from the Ga 16.
I am sure if you search you can find more.
Good Luck....

You are correct! The tranny from a GA16 will not bolt to a SR20. You'll need motor, tranny, axles, mounts, harness, ecu, etc. You're looking at a lot more than 1500.
