When I try to steer, I get this rubbing sound from the engine side. I checked the front wheels and found the bearings normal. Anyone has some insights as to what the problem might be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Strut bearing maybe?

Maybe try having someone turn the wheels while you listen, and see if you can isolate the noise.

Really need more info. Does it occur on left or right turns? when braking? Do you feel it in the steering wheel? etc. Any info would be helpful.
