After some search in the forum, I still have a doubt:
Is it possible to control the power steering response (force applied to the steering wheel?)
Recently I drove, another Sentra 98’ (GA16DE), almost equal to my 99’sentra, and I know you can’t have 2 exact cars, but the on my friend’s car to turn the wheels when the car is parked in the garage I just need to move the steering wheel with very little force, on my car in the same situation (car stopped) I must apply more force on the steering wheel.
To discard one possibility, we put the same amount of LBS on the tyres and we can still feel the difference.
So, I’m forced to think that the power steering pump of his car works better than mine, or maybe some belt tension issue or something …
I’m not complaining about my steering response I just want to feel the same steering assistance with the car almost stopped.
What should I do?
