The 200SX is a beater/daily-driver for me. But we have other cars that could serve as such. So lately I've been thinking about paring down our cars and the Nissan would be the one to go.

But it would seem dumb to get rid of it for just a couple hundred, since it is useful at times and runs fine. So what is it worth?

It's a 1995 200SX SE. Green with a mostly black interior.
175,000 miles
The paint and interior are in pretty good shape. Excellent when you consider the mileage. The paint is glossy and the clear is in-tact. But it's not a show winner or anything, many rock chips, some dings, etc.

Everything works except the vent fan. It works only on high. I suspect it's a relay or something that needs replacing, but it's not a priority. That and the driver's side sunvisor fell off. Other than that it's a no-excuses car.

It hasn't had many problems, new alternator, battery is pretty new, new valve cover gasket, it has a Pacesetter exhaust because the original rusted through.

Car is pretty loaded given what it is. Automatic, sunroof, power locks/windows/mirrors. Don't know what else is an option vs standard.

So what's it worth? It's a reliable car, would make a good cheap driver. I routinely get about 30mpg in regular commuting. Think it could get $1000? $1500? Or is that dreaming?

Hell if I wasn't leaving again, I would grab it. Sounds okay to me. Around here, you could get close to $1900 if you negotiated right.

Wow, that's pretty good! Maybe I'll start cleaning it up for sale.

Just FYI, I sold the car about a week ago for $2,000. Should be a good little car for the new owner.
