the screws on my 98 200se popped out and the liner was dragging while i was driving on highway, so i kinds just ripped it off, so I dont have a fender liner now on the passenger side, so the windershield cleaner pump is exposed. is that a big deal?

Since Fender liners are recent I would think its OK but would worry about rust from the dirt build up, particularly if you live in an area where they salt the roads.
As far as the pump, your guess is as good as mine, but I think it will be fine.
Good Luck...
^ same thing i was gonna say. but if they do salt your area, id make sure there was a liner in there before next winter. in my altima, the liner came out as well and theres dirt in my fender, door and wiring harness on the passenger side of the car. imagine if that was salt.

i would just b on the lookout to see if ur pulleys and belt are getting exposed too. if it is just the windshield wiper fluid pump, i'm sure it would be allright. but remember, they DID put it there for a reason soooo..... you might try a junk yard to get 1
