Heat shield rattle?

I have a rattle, it sounds metalic, and I am thinking it is the heatshield. I got under the sentra and pinged around with a wrench and it sounds the same,I tightened some bolts but I still get the same noise. anyone else have this and have you fixed it. I am starting to do alot of maintenance on my 98, the oil pan is leaking and my valve cover is leaking, I got a nissan gasket at the dealer for 14.00, I asked for a good price and he did, It was 24.00. the mechanic is going to do the pan for 90.00, and the belts for 64.00.

Both good ideas. I tightly wraped fine stainless steel wire around my heat shield. Problem solved.

Just remove it. It also gets rid of a good portion of the annoying ass ticking you hear when you turn off your car and its cooling down. Im lucky to hear even one metal tick now.
