Hey guys: coming from the maxima side of the fence..
I am going to do a motor swap tommorow on a bad GA16DE to good GA16DE and was wondering if you guys that have done it find it easier to swap the motor out from the bottom or out from the top?....

I threw a rod bearing at about 70k miles cause my ex ran it out of oil
blasted a hole in the block like that
needed a new one so I got a rebuilt ga16de from nissan and i slapped her in
too bad the ex still has her
and too bad im too late for this post I was gona say out threw the top with tranny connected still was a breeze for me and I had no help I did it on my own

Thats exactly what happened[minus the ex]. The car is my mom-in-laws,her youngest son ran it out of oil......
