my power locks have never worked(since i have had the car), i do have an alarm system installed. ive looked for the fuse, and i cant find it. ive searched the forums and i cant find any info on the kind of problem. my power windows work... someone give me some tricks to try out.
Different problem,
The whole, im not kidding.. the whole rear of my car is covered in carbon and gas mileage is sucking like 25 mpg after fuel filter, spark plugs, wires dis cap ign rotor. im takin the bosch plats out and going with the ngk non plat to see if this helps but its running rich as doo doo.
-bad sensor, possibly oxygen (theres two of them), and the PCV valve that could be culprits here for the carbon.
-And about the power locks. Its prob a blow fuse, and there is a fuse for it inside the car under the dash.

i have to go with dappa too. if what he said doesnt work then maybe the motors for your locks died. but i highly doubt all the motors would die at the same time. Maybe its a bad ground wire for the lock system. Lock system could not be getting power. Take a test light and check the power wire going to the lock button and unlock button and test to see if you are getting power. follow the wires and make sure they are not frayed or cut in any place especially inbetween the door (the rubber booty that holds all the wires)

Yes, it is in fact a light oil(as are kerosene, diesel fuel, and a ton of other things you might not consider oil) - wd-40 is composed of %50 Aliphatic Petroleum Distilates, %25 Petroleum Base oil, and %18 Lvp hydrocarbon fluid, and the rest is carbon dioxide propellant along with other non-toxic ingredients. These contents and amounts are correct - they were taken directly from the msds for wd-40 in a spray can(the most common type). Wd-40 is a penetrating lubricant, it is also a water displacer(what it was initially developed for, hence its name - water displacer 40). I do use wd-40 as well, for lubricating parts, preventing corrosion on bare engine blocks, crankshafts, cams, etc...I just don't recommend using it on electrical parts - but feel free to do what you want. Just my .02
My locks dont work either. They used to lock but not unlock. Then I got water in one of them now they dont do anything.
Went through wiring diagrams and tested a bunch of crap and it turned out to be the body control module. Which is expensive. So yeah, I use my hand to operate them now.

re
you might try this, go to a salvage yard and see if they will let you try a new master control to see if it is the control or something else, if it is the control then you can get a new one, I got one at the dealer for 70.00, you might check e-bay also. I have my old one if you can't find one to test it on.
