tire pressure?

Hi. Ive got a 1999 Sentra GXE with P175/65R14 's. Can't find anywhere on car a sticker for correct tire pressure and it's not in the owner's manual. Thanx for any help!

your tires should have there own presure, look on your tire paperwork or call your company, but i would say it is safe to run them between 30 and 35 psi

Thats not the "correct" tire pressure, thats just the maximum pressure rating of the tire.

Should be a sticker on the door somewhere but I guess yours is gone. On my 95' with the same tire size, its 29 in the front and 32/33 in the rear I believe.

yea but just use the max tire pressure and go down about 5-10 below that. now if you want to tune your over/under steer balance then increase the tire pressure up front to lessen understeer and increase pressure in the back to increase oversteer. lower pressure in back to lower oversteer. Lots of experimentation. And dont go increasing the pressure more than 5psi over the max or youll blow a tire

Is there a placard on the driver's door or door jam? Anyway, your best bet is 32-38 psi.
