Question I got a few questions.

First off, I hope this is the right board for my car and these questions.

I have a 97 200sx se-r.

First...I am going to buy a fuel filter today because I think it is getting bad. I have changed several on different cars, mostly trucks. On all the previous ones that I have changed, it was simply remove and replace. Is this the case with my vehicle? I have heard that you have to release the pressure in the fuel system, is this the case?

Second...My keyless remote does not work anymore. I have taken them in to replace the batteries but the batteries checked out fine. Is there a sensor somewhere on the car that is not recognizing the remote anymore? The alarm still works and functions fine; I thought that was a plus.

Thanks for the help...

yes, the fuel filter takes about 2min. to change, and if you want to upgrade with oem parts, get a 300 zxtt fuel filter, same design, just bigger. and of course you have to depressurize the system, just open your gas cap.
Don't know to much about alarms, but is it factory?

You have to remove the fuel pump fuse (fuse panel) and run the engine without it till it stalls.
