rust rust and more rust

i discovered a rust spot under my carpet today and i was wondering if this is normal for the sentra to rust drivers side right infront of the back seat next to the door. i also had some rust in my door jam on the drivers side next to the hinge twords the base of the car (97 gxe)

normaly it is not normal for a car to rust out like that. we also have a 94 sentra that has been thro hell and there is no rust on it. You need to grind and buff off the rust and put some paint on it to slow this prosses

your wrong there

im an autobody tech and i know how to fix this shit and its not gonna be easy. you knock all the rust out with a pic hammer and you weld or glue a metal patch inplace and knock it down with the hammer agian so its like a dent and the you coat it with fiberglass bodyfiler sand smooth and then prime and paint.

i was asking if its usual for rust to form here

I'd say water has been there sitting for an extended period at some point in the cars life. spilled, leaked or otherwise.

Looks like it's pretty serious and starting to really eat at your floor pan.

I'm not sure about B14's but A-pillar rust is quite common on B13's

i think the previous owners had a soda fight in this car becaust i found sticky messes scattered all throught this car
