Burnout sound. but not

Hey. Just like the title says. When i start off in 1st and smetiems shifting to second i hear a squeeling sound that sounds a little higher pitched than a tire squeel. It lasts only like 1 second. I'm guessing it's some sort of clutch problem but anyone else want to chime in?

I agree, could be belts. Is your air conditioner on during this sound? Mine used to do that when the A/C initially kicked on but would go away after the first couple of cycles. I cleaned the belts and it went away.

No, it's always. Whether the AC is on or not. Just does it during startup from stop.

Definently check the belts, my car did that exact same thing, I cleaned the belts off, and it was gone. Check the belts carefully, because that sound can be from ware.
