A/C fixed..but caused other problems??
Here's the deal, i have a 92 sentra. We bought this in February, the a/c worked fine for a week..but then it slowly went warm..it was probably just fed with Freon. Ne ways, we FINALLY got our a/c fixed. But when we got the car back, i found that the engine didnt sound the same as when we brought it in. the idle went down.. it went down so much, that when i was in traffic, n i had my foot on the break, the car died. n i had to start it up again. It sounds like it's sputtering sometimes. So i raised the idle a little bit so that the engine wouldnt die during stops.
But, is it normal that.. I give my car to the mechanics to get my A/C fixed (we bought new parts for the A/C because the last owner didnt take are of it too well.. n the a/c hasnt been used for a while) n when we got our car back, there were problems with the idle, n the engine sounded different. The mechanic said that..we had to replace...(i forget the name of the part..im not very educated when it comes to automotives..) the thing that tells the car how much gas it should let in the engine..it looks like a small black tin can..but plastic. They cleaned out my manifold... because it was really dirty. Is this normal? can installing new A/C parts effect other parts of the car like this?
