You are not properly using the resources available to you. There is a difference.

If your buying the parts from a parts store...you want the brake parts for a Japan made NX2000 WITH ABS. If you dont ask for this you will get SE-R brake stuff.

If your buying them from someone with an NX2000 it doesnt matter if the car had ABS or not. Its still gong to have AD22's. All USDM (All US NX2000's were made in Japan for the US domestic market) NX2000's came with AD22's no matter if they had ABS or not.

Dont get japan made and US made, and JDM and USDM confused though. ALL US NX2K's were MADE in japan but they are USDM since they were made to concur with US standards and codes (This is why we have EGR stock and JDM motors dont).

I hope this made since to you

BTW in other countries there were NX2K's that came with AD18's since they got alot more flexible options on what they wanted. Thats probably why the parts books are messed up in the US for the NX2000 brakes.

There are even some NX2000's in other countries that had the SR20 but looked just like the NX1600.

brake qusestion

I kinda ask the question wrong, what im wondering is, i got a set of nx2000 calipers, and the guy said they were non/abs, and when i went to the store, the abs pads fit, so are the calipers actually abs, and or will the abs rotors fit, cuz i believe they are bigger, or do the abs and non/abs calipers use the same pads, but the caliper placement is different? Also does anyone know the actual diameter of these rotors?..thanks for the help

If you bought some NX2000 calipers from a guy that took them off of an NX2000 in the US then you have AD22's. Do they Say AD22 on them? The ABS and non ABS pads are the same. You just have to ask for ABS pads to get the correct ones for the AD22. If you dont ask for ABSed, Japan Made NX brake parts you will get AD18 parts.
