will this engine fit?!?!

i have some pics of this engine but the only specs on it were

"JDM SR20DE 1996 DOHC 16 Valve"

i notcied on some different motors i was checking out. some say like 1998cc and this could be 1996? i dont think it could be the year but. i need to know if it will fit in my 1992 nx2000. thanks

well

well man me and my friend found one at the wreckers here and it was a 91, they said it wouldnt fit in a 92. so chill. im just trying to be carefull b4 i blow my cash man

SR20s from all years and drivetrains are the same basic size. When that guy told you that it wouldn't fit, you should have asked him why. Use rational thought and tell me how you took that guy seriously. If anything, you should have seen your motor and then the motor you were looking to purchase so as to answer your own question. Think before you ask. Helps us all out.

i just called them and they said the intake manifold is different and the bolts are different, and that its a 1996

That would be because the one in your car now is a Highport, and the one you are looking to buy is a lowport. It will fit though since its the same motor.
